This large vintage style enamelware canister can be used for so many things. Although these were originally used as bread boxes (hence the BREAD painted on the front) I did paint roses on all sides so that if you choose, you can turn the side with Bread written on it to the back and display just the pretty rose side. This would be great for towels or toiletries in the bath, magazines, mittens and gloves in the entrance way, office supplies - just about anything you can think of. It's very roomy as you can see in the last picture which shows magazines standing up inside it. So pretty and just covered with pretty pink roses.
Although it is vintage looking, this is a new piece. It is made of metal and it measures 14" tall by 15" wide and 10" deep.
This is a one-of-a-kind piece, an original design signed by the artist, Cherie Perry - that would be me :) Perfect for the romantic, shabby chic, French, cottage, country and Victorian style of home decor.
