What a lovely piece this is - absolutely stunning in person, the pictures do not do it justice. Just covered with roses - the gorgeous hand painted pink roses surround the entire lid. The background is white and the roses are lightly accented with a watercolor effect in soft aqua. A vintage style knob on top coordinates perfectly with the glass tray and completes the look.
This is a vintage piece but in excellent condition. The lid has a couple of very minor little dents which aren't even noticeable. The glass plate is in like-new condition - no chips or nicks. The glass pedestal is separate from the tray, you can either use it with the cake saver or not. The pedestal has a few signs of use - there are some tiny nicks in the top and one very little chip on the underside - all are smooth and not noticeable unless you pick it up and study it in the light.
This stunning set has a total measurement of approximately 15" tall by 12.5" in diameter.
