This gorgeous old ceiling tin is just full of vintage charm! It measures 24" x 24" and has had multiple coats of paint as you can see through the chippy spots. It is currently white, but it was black at one time as well as sage green. The paint is also beautifully crackled and it's the real deal, no faux finish here! The white is not a bright white, time and use have toned it down - perfectly shabby in all of its dinged up, chippy glory!

 

 

My husband mounted the tin on a 3/8" solid wood frame so it is stable and ready-to-hang without being too heavy. This also minimized the sharp edges these old tins have. Last but not least, the roses - pictures aren't doing them justice - they are so pretty with their soft pink tones! What a versatile piece - it would look great in any room - perfect above a fireplace mantel or bed. Oh la la!
